Hello!
Recently I've been having problems with my head set (Corsair Vengeance 1500 version 1). Whenever i have both this USB headset plugged into the back and a pair of headphones plugged into the front panel audio jack at the same time I'm unable to open the sound options from the control panel. Why doesn't the audio source from the front panel jack have priority like it does when I have something plugged into both jacks? I am able to change the volume of both peripherals through the taskbar. I'm running the latest drivers from Corsair.

There is no need to go to control panel just right click the Volume icon in the taskbar (right corner) It should say Realtek or something depending on your motherboard.

click Playback Devices, discover which 1 is which and set as default device. You can switch at any time and it will work instantly, I do this everyday
