Does anyone know of a software application (free or $) that can be installed on a computer and will record the desktop screen? Windows 7 (64bit)
If it could record right to the harddrive of that computer and possibly auto-remove a recording if it is more than a certain number of days old.
I've written an application that a user can weigh in loaded trucks and weigh out the empty. Some situations data may not be saved or saved incorrectly. When this happens, I'd like to look back at that specific time frame to see exactly what was on the screen and user actions when it happened. I'm trying to determine if it is a user issue or application issue. They tell me one thing on the phone after it's happened and I'd like to see for sure if that is what happened.
I don't want to put up an ip camera facing the computer if I don't have to.
Keep in mind...it would be nice if it auto started as soon as the computer was turned on. I don't want any user interaction. If there is an overlay on the screen that says it is recording...that is fine.
Thanks,
Nick
