After doing a BIOS update my laptop will not boot up. The power light comes on and then shuts right back off. How do I fix this issue?

Solution
If you revert back to the old BIOS it will be ok and the extra ram will work fine. Did it on mine as well and this was the only fix. My problem is I'm finding this on a lot of updates for drivers and have had to uninstall several. On the drivers the screen doesn't go black but you will start getting blue screens with the error - "memory_management"

Are you sure they are fried? I believe the bios update removes support for 1.5v memory. If you upgraded using 1.5V instead of 1.35V, this may be the problem. You could revert back to old BIOS, and continue using the upgraded memory if this it the case.
