DVD drive sound on K55VJ

I have an Asus K55VJ. When I turn it on or sometimes randomly I hear a bad sudden sound from it. It's really annoying specially when I'm at library.
When I keep the DVD drive open and turn the device on I don't hear that sound.

Disable your OD as one of your boot drive in the bios.

It's not a solution!
My friend has a K43 and doesn't have this problem. I think this happens when DVD drive checks for existence of disc. but do it noisy!
