Hi,

i am in market for a new laptop to replace my 3 year old HP Probook. I mainly use my laptop for designing either with Photoshop, illustrator and at times Adobe indesign & coral draw. I watch movies and series online so would like a decent screen resolution and capability to stream 1080p via hdmi effortlessly.

As per my needs i have listed these models as suitable.

Lenovo G510 (59-382843) Laptop(4rthGen Ci5 4200M/4GB/500GB/15.6'LED/2GB GFX/DOS)

HP Pavilion 15-n004TX Laptop (4th Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/Ubuntu/1 GB Graph)

HP has a 4200u processor and lenovo has 4200m? Which one should i prefer considering lenova has Amd 2 GB ATI SUNPRO8570 & HP AMD Radeon HD 8670M

I dont mind looking for others brands that fits my budget around 40-45k INR or 650-700 USD.

I want a laptop that last me for atleast 3 years before i upgrade.

Thanks

I got same budget and situation in which you were. I chose 4200U hp Pavilion 15-n012tx because more 4th generation instruction set and believe me got almost 5.5 hour battery hours. I am not a gamer. But programmer and use photoshop lot. my android programming with heavy emulator can be easily handled by 4200U.
