Re-installing Windows won't do anything for overheating issues. Either you have something wrong with the heatsink, your laptop vents or fans are clogged or you are using it improperly (on a bed in a blanket or something that blocks the vents).

If the laptop is in warranty, contact Lenovo for help. If it's out of warrant, you can open it up and re-apply the heatsink with new heat grease, check the fans, blow out any dust, etc... Or get someone that knows how to work on laptops do that for you.

I think you can get one from Digital River or from this download link: http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-from-digital-river/

We use Digital River at work when we need to find media and a customer cannot provide it. I'm not 100% sure it will work with the OEM Windows 7 sticker on your computer but you can give it a try.
