I have a Toshiba laptop that won't post, no beeps, blank screen.
Fan spins, lights come on, that's it.

After much asking around, I came to the conclusion the motherboard was dead. I bought a new motherboard, exact same model, tested and working, and swapped it out.

Same-- no post.

I switched out the CPU with a tested CPU, thinking that could be it.

Same-- no post.

So, working MOB, working CPU, and no post, no beeps, with or without RAM. Any ideas?

Solution
Maybe the inverter to the screen went bad. Try get a flashlight and shine it on the screen to see if you see anything. Aslo try to connect the VGA cable from the laptop to a monitor and see if you are getting any display.

Even if the screen is bad, it ought to post, beep, or the hard drive ought to spin though, correct?
