I have a Dell Inspiron n5110.I will NEVER again buy a product from Dell.The laptop got buggy, slow, making strange noises and it started to freeze after i closed the lid and opened it back.I sent it to service and they told me they probably won't be able to fix it.I am thinking of buying a new laptop, but I am not good very well informed about the brands on the market.Can you recommend me a brand (Toshiba,Lenovo,Sony,Hp...but NOT Dell) in the range of approximately 800$?Not necessary to be a gaming laptop.And also, Win 7 or 8?The last 5 years I have been using Win 7 and I am happy.Don't know about 8.Heard it is more suitable for tablets and touch screen devices.Thank you.
Recommend me a laptop brand.

Hi. Look at Lenovo in your price range. They are good quality machines from all I've seen. Windows 8 probably would have been good had they not included Metro in that mess. For me that was a deal breaker. This would be good, but a tad over your budget: http
