for the best audio performance there are only two 2.1 speakers that i recomend.

I don't know about Edifier C3 but I had those Altec Lansing MX6021 and they distort at high volumes, volume control pod easily gets broken, bass is somewhat weak needs more punch despite of its humongous size. Have to ditch those set and now I'm looking for a new one as well.

I have a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 (Wireless), a HK Soundstick III and a Bose Companion 5. Not only are the Klipsch and HK blown out of the water, they are also kicked in the ass by Bose's. Bose is superb!
