System requirements for AutoCAD Civil 3D

Hi

I have a lenovo T430s, it is the laptop I am using at work. I need to purchase AutoCAD Civil 3D and wonder if this computer can handle the program.

System information:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-3320M 2,60GHz
Ram: 8 GB
Graphic card: Intel HD Graphics 4000

According to the autodesk website it meets the minimum requirements but if you're gonna invest $5000 in a program that you're going to use to make money on you really ought to contact the manufacturer and they'll tell you how much power you're gonna need to be able to do what you want to do.

If it is for work, i would consider upgrading to a workstation laptop, if it is for occasional use, the intel hd 4000 will suffice, but cards like the NVS 5400M are significant improvements with cad based programs and come with the T430 (laptop you could consider upgrading to), however if you do plan to purchase a new laptop, i would wait for the next generation of Lenovo laptops that come out this late october with significant improvements to the current lineup, improved displays, high powered graphics, haswell processors, etc... if you work with this machine, it is worth the wait
