I have the 13.10 mobility driver installed but I don't know whether Im using the 7670M or the integrated one. Whenever I click configure switchable graphics, It just shows a "Web content" with options like Check for driver updates or customer care. It just happened when I installed the 13.10 driver.

Oh sorry for not being clear there, I mean I can now configure the switchable graphics ... Havent tried it yet in bf4. Ill do it tomorrow

So, how do i set it manually? Do i just set the bf4 application to high performance? Can dual graphics mode help smoothen my fps even a bit or i just have to stick with one graph card?

Lower settings ofloads the game onto the CPU, higher settings makes use of the GPU. Beta isn't a good time to test that yet because half the stuff are disabled just like BF3 beta.

With that laptop you can get away with a couple things set to high and rest low and medium, and of course lower resolution (You're playing a game, not reading text so it won't matter much).

I didn't know that.
Maybe ill just play around with the settings that will give me smooth fps once I have it . Thanks for the info!

I tried it now and yes, it is better. It turns out that I'm using the integrated graphics card and I set it to High performance. Thanks again
