So the DC jack broke in my Sony VAIO VGN-FZ240E and it took a week and a half to get the new one but I finally got it switched out and now the laptop won't boot. The power light comes on and the HDD light comes on for a second but disappears. All of the USB port on it have power and the disk drive starts up and is functional but the fan doesn't come on or anything else that should and the screen stays .
