Hi everyone, I am looking for a new laptop for gaming/school and I am on a strict budget of $1,300 max (would love to spend less but you know..) I was originally looking at a laptop with:

A10 5750M APU/8970M. Or
Intel i7 4700MQ/GTX 770M.

I wanted the intel w/ 770M more but I am struggling to find one on my budget. Now I am searching for older computers so maybe I can find one with a 680m even if the processor is older.

If anyone can help me find laptops with either the 770m or 680m please feel free to do so! Also if you think I should for some reason take the AMD laptop over intel please let me know why. I have been told those processors are not very good.

Thanks!

Click the following link for more info about the GTX 765m. There are game benchmarks further down the page. In the middle column is how that site ranks various graphic cards/chips. The cards in black font are desktop graphic cards.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-765M.92907.0.html

In the game benchmark section you are going to see one to several different FPS numbers. Those numbers are specific to the laptop the game was tested on. Click the number to reveal the laptop. For example, Crysis 3 has three different benchmarks for "high settings"; 1366x768 High Preset 16xAF FXAA. Clicking the middle 36.8 FPS figure reveals that the laptop which got that result is the Schenker W503 (a.k.a. Clevo P150SM).
Considering the GTX 680m is more powerful than the GTX 770m, you are not going to find it for a lower price.

Considering that the GTX 770m is 2nd most powerful mobile GTX 7xx series GPU, I think you are wasting your time trying to find a laptop with that GPU. You either need to lower your expectations or increase your budget.

Huh..So it is! I can't believe I missed that lol well that was indeed a waste of time. However, I have found a few 770M's but the rest of the specs are to the bare minimum. How well do you think a 765m would stack up against a 770M?
