Is this a laptop or a desktop? Either way an AMD A8 won't make for a good gaming system at all.Its a laptop.
The thing you have to keep in mind when choosing a laptop is that laptop CPUs are in no way shape or form identical to their desktop counterparts. They're made for low power requirements and as such, they will be far less powerful than they will be on a desktop.

OK. but what would you recommend so my laptop could be powerful for gaming? I wanted to get a desktop for gaming but my parents wouldn't let me.
forgot one thing my laptop is quad-core,has an accelerated processor, 4096 MB DDR3 SDRAM, WLAN, Windows 8.
