Hi, so I downloaded Planet Side 2 a while back and I was surprisingly able to play it on lowest graphical settings really well. Now Im thinking about purchasing Arma 2 w/ Day Z mod but im not quite sure if its more or less demanding than Planet Side 2.

here are my specs

I have an Asus v3-551-x419

- A10-4600M w/ Turbo core tech up to 3.20 Ghz (2.30 Ghz)

-AMD HD 7660G+7670 w/ 2 GB Dedicated VRAM

-6GB DDR3 Memory

-750 GB HDD

Can it run Day Z on lowest settings?

Solution

Yep.it will run day z on the lowest setting no problem.u even might be able to tweak some setting and play on medium.

Thanks Kookie. I wanna go a bit off topic here, would you have any idea why this laptop can not run certain games as well a others even on low settings? ex. I downloaded black ops 2 for this and I was going through some bad fps drop even on low.

Are u playing it on crossfire?do u have the latest driver for ur card(13.10beta) and latest caps(13.5).try playing with the dedicated card and disable crossfire.i have an aspire 5660g with amd a8-3500 turbo to 2.4ghz,6620g+6650m,6gb ram and it can run most game pretty well even some on high setting.i even play tomb raider on medium/high with aa set to fxaa and can get a stable 32-50fps.urs might be driver issue.
