My requirements are:
i7 processor
1920*1080 full hd
8 gb ram
2 gb graphics card
17 inch display
Pls suggest some affordable laptop matching this configuration

My budget is around 1100 $
How about HP-ENVY-17-j029nr-Quad-Edition-Notebook???
plz suggest and also tell sumthing about samsung and lenovo laptops

some people are saying that Lenovo y500 with lower resolution settings is better for gaming than Lenovo y510 with 1080p display setting. how is it possible???

Actually if u lower the resolution u can see performance increase in game at the cost of visuals.i will go for the 1080 screen as it is full hd an i think the lenovo can handle most games well on 1080 resolution

Samsung 5 series has problem of overheating within 30 minutes of gaming so how one can cope with that?
And which is better samsung or Lenovo for this configuration and how about HP-ENVY-17-j029nr-Quad-Edition-Notebook?

i wont recommend the samsung.I would go for the lenovo.The hp might have a better design an all but due to the slim body,heats tends to be a big problem.also the lenovo have a dual 750m sli gddr5 setup which the hp only have single 750m gddr3.besides i use to own 3 hp notebook and all of them suffer from mobo failure.go for the lenovo.or save up a lil bit and get the new AW m14
