Which laptop should I choose?

As far as branding, I have no issues with either brand personally.
For gaming the Lenovo has the Sony beat with a faster CPU and dual graphics cards in SLI (does make a difference in many games), more ram although the ram amount I don't really consider as it is an easy upgrade later, larger hard drive - yeah, I'm really not seeing a whole lot in the Sony other than an i7 with a newer (yet lesser) graphics card.
My vote would be on the Lenovo between those two
