Hey guys I have a problem. I recently got a tv from a friend of mine, a Hitachi Ultravision 52" TV. Its a rear projector I think but the color on it is off, everything looks green. I am thinking that it is the color tubes/LED lights inside but I don't have any TV repair people in my area that can take a look at it for me. The model on it is the 55VS69A. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to fix the picture or repair it if its the tubes and provide a link on where to buy parts and how to go about repairing it?

You don't say what connection you are using but check out others. The TV is an LCD rear projector so it has an LCD panel for each color. Sounds like 2 of the panels are not lit. I think you will need a tech to troubleshoot this.
I've tried multiple connections using AV and HDMI and all the picture is green. Where I live I can't find a tech to troubleshoot it. There are none in my town and the closest I found was about 2 and a half hours away and doesn't say he will work on it because of maintenance costs or something. Hard to find parts.

My tv guy told me the color wheel needs to be replaced. If your handy you can look it up step by step on you tube.
