I'm looking for a mobile laptop with decent specs that is geared towards audio engineering. I was intrigued by the HP ENVY 15 with the AMD A8 and all that jazz (I am too lazy to explain it further) and how i could get a backlit keyboard and 1080p screen and dedicated GPU. The only thing that I hate about it is the integrated Beats audio that I cant avoid, and seeing how i need a flat audio response, it is practically useless to me.

Categories for laptop
-600-700 dollars
-14in screen or more
-Bonus points for a backlit keyboard
-Windows 7 or 8
-Bonus points for SSD cache
-Generic non-eqed soundcard
-Bonus points for aluminum construction.

I was also interested in the Avatar AVIU-145A2, so if any of you have testimonials on it, that would be great.

you cant rely on ay internal sound card(especially a laptop) for audio engineering. You have to use an external sound card, to connect 1/4 cables and xlr mics and to provide 48v power

I realize, but I am not going to be able to carry an interface everywhere with me. The least I could ask is for it to have a non-colored sound output. I have also heard that you can completely uninstall the beats software from the HP ENVY, if you have sauce on that, please tell.
