I have an older RCA TV, model F25645. I hooked up all the audio and video cables properly to the TV, but can't change the video input. When I press the channel buttons on the TV, nothing happens. Going through the TV setup menu gives me an input option but nothing changes as well. I have a universal remote that only works to turn the TV on and off. What do I do to get the Xbox to work on my TV?

There are a handful of things you can try. First, make sure both the XBox and the TV work through those input outputs. Try inputting something different through the RCAs, and try the XBox on another TV. If everything is kewl there, check the switch on the cable that goes from the XBox to the TV. Pretty sure there's a TV/HDTV switch that's on the connector that goes into the XBox. That's all I can think of offhand.
