I'm interested in buying a laptop ~500$

I need to connect it to a full HD projector, using HDMI.
For film, home cinema and gaming...

  • This laptops video card supports 1080p?

What can i expect in terms of gaming performances, connecting it to a fullHD projector?

Hello Zanardi,

Both laptops you've selected will allow for gaming as well as support an HD projector...but it comes down to the type of games you are planning to play? Some games will run fine at low resolutions, while others (less graphic intense) can be played at higher resolutions. These settings will also affect your frames-per-second (fps), where generally the higher the resolution the lower the FPS...

Also, have you looked at the AMD A-Series APUs? (The A8 and A10 should fit your budget, especially the A8). Look here:
http://shop.amd.com/us/Dealer/Newegg-US?SearchTerms=A8&SearchFacets=category%3ANotebook&SortBy=priceLowToHigh

In the APU (Accelerated Processing Unit), the graphics processor (GPU) and the CPU are integrated in the same chip, which deliver higher performance while keeping the cost low.
