Best DSLR under 1150$?

Hi, since you don't mention how much experience you have in photography I can suggest the following things...
First, either the Nikon D5200 or the D7100 are great cameras for the price you want to pay. Both come with great kit lens.
Second, and most important of all..... it's more important to invest in good glass than in a good camera..... a shitty camera with a great lens will produce much better results than a great camera with a shitty lens..... so, save so money so you can buy a great lens in the near future, trust me, you won't regret it.
