I have a new Lenovo Y410p that came with Win 8 but i downgraded to Win 7. The problem is that sometimes when i leave the computer on but dont use it, it starts randomly clicking on things. It's like if some1 is randomly using the touchpad and clicking. Is there any program or app that locks the touchpad so I can just do that while my laptop is idle? I usually put it to sleep but sometimes when i leave the room to go to the bathroom or to eat, ill leave it on. Any suggestions?

Well you can install the Lenovo UltraNav utility to be able to disable the thouch pad, but it sounds like you may have more going on that is worth investigating besides just disabling the touch pad.

When you install the ultranav utility, go to your mouse settings in the control panel, select the ultranav tab at the top and then check the box to show it in your system tray. You can then just left click the utility in your system tray to enable/disable your touch pad.

Yea, I have AVG Internet Security running, ran a full scan, everything is clean. I think it may be a problem with the touchpad drivers, im gonna try re-installing them right now. but im still looking for something to lock the touchpad
