I dont really know anything about camera repair, I do with pc's but not cameras at all lol. I've taken it apart and didnt see anything visibly wrong. It just doesn't power on... any ideas?
Below are the two things to try if the camera will not turn on (source: user manual):
1) Insert a new or charged battery.
2) If practical, connect the camera to a Kodak 3-volt AC adapter
(sold separately), then try again. See page 62 for more battery
information.
Other than a replacement LCD screen the other parts I have seen are accessories.
Well it's my gf's moms camera and when she gave it to me to look at it didnt have any batteries in it and she doesnt have the ac adapter. She said she had gotten it off a friend for $50 and it worked for a few days then it took a crap. There's no corrosion and I've tried many different batteries. the three boards inside look fine too.
