converting netbook to touchscreen

id like to convert my older netbook to a touchscreen, its a lenovo s10e, cant find any kits for this to do it anymore so i guess id have to buy a new screen or a touchscreen overlay that would have to be tailored to this screen... whats my option?

A typical tablet would have an I2C interface to connect to a touchscreen controller and a MIPI interface to connect to a LCD controller. Your netbook pc lacks both, so your best bet is to buy a new touchscreen monitor that use USB interface for touch input. However, a touchscreen monitor usually costs more than $300.

I would recommend that you buy a tablet instead.
