I have a ASUS Sabertooth Z87 mother board with an Intel 4770k Processor. I'm trying to install AI Suite III to control fan speeds and various other reasons. When I open the setup file, it asks me if I want to run it (because its downloaded from the internet) so I click run. But then there's isn't anything after that. I can't see the process in windows task manager but there is no application window to open. I've tried downloading a previous version and running the setup file as an administrator.

I've read other threads on this same issue, but it really just turns into people saying don't bother because the program is terrible. Please, if you have any possible solutions, post them here so I (and anybody else having this issue) can use the software and decide for myself.

This is one of the reasons I ALWAYS use the CD that comes with the MoBo to do my initial installs..... I had the the same thing happen with special audio programs, AI Suite and DVD player software with Asus ROG boards..... I can install off the CD but not downloaded versions. I wonder, but have never been able to confirm, whether this is because they are a "bonus" item that you get with the high end boards and they don't want those who buy the cheapie boards to get it w/o paying the price premium. Once it's on the machine, I have had no trouble with the downloaded ones as upgrades.

If it's on the original MoBo CD, try installing from there.....

There is a AI uninstall program which some peeps have needed to get it off before they...

Thanks for your help! I installed the software from the CD without any problems. The download provided in the link however appears to be an empty .zip file
