My new hp2000 will not let me sign on to my school's online learning site. I can sign on other sites fine, and it says that this is safe site. I do not think it is blocking it, so why am I unable to log in. I click the log in button and the page never loads, it will not even recognize that I clicked the link. The link turns blue to show that you are hovering over it, but it never recognizes that it is selected. no loading or anything. I am not very savvy. The browser credentials are..

Type Internet Explorer N/A
Version 10 Yes
Cookies Enabled Yes Yes
Java Enabled Yes Yes
Java Vendor N/A
Java Version
JavaScript Version 1.5 Yes
The following information is for use when contacting WebTycho Support.
Platform Windows N/A
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; Trident/6.0; .NET4.0E; .NET4.0C; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; CPNTDFJS) N/A
Default Language en-US N/A
Flash Player Version 11 N/A
JSCRIPT.DLL Version 10.0.16420 No

I do not know what any of this means. Help

Solution

"Stop using IE" is not an answer, it's a work around. The problem is with the JSCRIPT.DLL. The versions appear to be too new for the WebTycho platform. The proper solution would be for the Sys Admins at WebTycho to update their platform to allow newer version of IE to work. IE 10 has been out for quite a while now an IE 11 is already rolled out. As a Sys Admin for over 20 years, I can say that this is just lazy platform support.

It is true that other browsers will work but they really need to fix the site to allow IE to work as well.
