Ive had my M17X R3 for about 20 months at first I could use it for long periods of time playing games at reasonable FPS if you want a example I would run CoD4 at medium settings and get 125FPS which is what i capped it at (running at 1600x900 res). Recently however my laptop has become slow (I have noticed it becomes very hot whilst playing games up to 85 Degrees Celsius and 40-50 at idle) this has affected my FPS in a negative way meaning that my laptop struggles to get 60FPS on CoD4 at the lowest settings with my resolution turned down to 1280x600.
I have checked my computer for viruses and spyware ECT and done a fresh install of Windows 7 not sure what else i can do any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The specs incase anyone wants them:
I7-2760QM @ 2.4GHz
8GB DDR3
Nvidia 560M
500 GB HDD
Windows 7 Professional
