Hi Tom's Hardware,

A laptop I have just received is experiencing some weird problems. The computer company is trying to replicate them at the moment but I was hoping someone here might have a solution to the problem. The laptop crashes when it tries to boot restarts crashes restart crashes etc. Normally after a few restarts it boots successfully and then I no longer experience any problems. After it has booted successfully I can restart it no problem at all. After it has been off for a long period of time it is back to the original problem. Sometimes it just will not start and I have to turn it off. The only way to do this is to unplug the power cable from the laptop. If I try and start the laptop off the battery it has the same problem as when I start it when it is plugged in. To turn it off when it is unplugged I have to plug it in and then unplug it. Does anyone have a solution to my problem or know what might be causing it?

Thanks.

Yes I just bought this laptop brand new. As for the tech support question I do not understand your question but I am talking with the owner of the company who is trying to solve the problem. What sort of info are you after I am very novice and do not really know what you need to know.

Good deal even if you don't know much about computers it should still function as new without all the errors you express you shouldn't have to do this or that to make there product work its like buying a new car your shouldn't have all these problems so soon if its recalls its be a different story where they assume there is a problem and they are going to address those and not make you wait for what you paid for a working model no matter what the product is. I feel for you I have been there years ago I like to thank acer corp for that because if it wasn't for them back then I wouldn't build my own boxes.. Pc now .. Good luck to you and hope you can find a good laptop..
