Which of these headphones is best

So I'm deciding between these:
Audio-Technica ATH-M40FS
Audio-Technica ATH-M30

I have looked over them and I cant even figure out the difference between these two. If you could tell me which of these 2 are the best, or another one for around 70 dollars or under that would be great. Thanks.

The ATH-M40FS's are overall a better buy. Probably the biggest thing that separates the two listed is that they have a better frequency response (5 - 28,000 Hz) as compared to the M30's (20-20,000 Hz). The type (Closed back dynamic) and materials (Neodymium) are the same throughout. Getting to the point, the first headphones, the M40FS's are better. As for any other headphones, I would recommend something by Sennhieser. The HD 429's are very good for the price. http

They are, when it all boils down, very similar. However, I have always had a personal preference towards the Sennheisers. They are well built, versatile headphones. It's really up to you what you choose, although if it was me , I would choose the Sennheisers.
