Gaming Laptop Question

How good of a gaming laptop will i need in order to run League of Legends as well as the new Elder Scrolls online MMO for years to come on max settings ? like what minimum of a laptop GPU. i would like to get a good two years or so out of the laptop!

The laptop i am looking at has dual GTX 765M 2GB GDDR5 GPUS in it is that good enough ?

Hi,

Specs meets the GPU requirements for most modern game. That said, laptop are not good for gaming and somewhere along the line you might get troubles. (bad framerate for no reason, you need to play while being plug in ect.)

Give us the full laptop specs so we can tell you if it's good or not.

Well, if your gaming device meets the specs for the game then there shouldn't be a problem. Unless there is something specifically wrong with the laptop the framerate shouldn't be bad and as for having to have it plugged in, if you're running a gaming PC with powerful components then battery life is going to be shorter. Computers with hours and hours of battery life are usually for things like web browsing and word processing, not using high-performance components to run activities requiring a lot of system resources.

I Travel a lot and i have a finance option with dell from a couple years ago i was going to get the Alienware 18 Laptop. Which model and set up depends on what i'll need to run those games for a couple years.

From what I've seen, Elder Scrolls Online seems to be playable on old hardware, and LoL is not a demanding game. The Alienware will probably treat you well: they have good build quality and more than enough horsepower for those games. If you want to save a few bucks, you could certainly go with one of the lower spec models and still have a system that will future proof you.

Just know that gaming laptops are typically not "travel friendly".

Dual 765M would be more than enough for the games you mentioned. A single 765M would handle them, even.
