So I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 S4011, and the battery indicator light never lights up. The laptop still detects the battery, because the battery icon still shows up in the taskbar and it says it's full charged. A note here, my laptop's 9 years old and the battery needs to be replaced since it won't last more than a minute with no AC power. Maybe that's why the battery indicator doesn't light up? Also, it lights up randomly sometimes, orange which means it's charging, and in a minute it will disappear. It only happens when the laptop's plugged in but is not on. Can anyone help me out and tell me if it's really the battery that needs replacement or it's the motherboard? I sure hope it's battery related as I ordered a new battery and is coming in within a week. If it's motherboard related, well, I can't do anything about it because it's a 9 year old laptop and I don't think anybody from Toshiba will be able to give me technical support for a discontinued product. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
