Hello, im writting in order to ask some particular questions about HDMI connection.

First i connect the 1.4 HDMI cable to both laptop and HDTV, then what do i do? I want to shut down the laptop monitor when using the HDTV and i wanna know how to invert the process when i´m finnished.

Will the TV need to be on a particular channel?(lol old times) I will use it mainly for games.

Do you think 15€ for a 1.4 HDMI cable is too much?

Thank you, my best regards.

15€ is pretty ridiculous for am HDMI cable unless it's 8 meters... And even then it's not good... if you bought in a store then look online.

As for modes, just plug it in and press the windows key + p. This will cycle through your modes (clone, extended, laptop only, TV only. Not sure on the order) till you get what you want. When you unplug it will return to the laptop display.

Well, thank for your support. Seems quite easy. I havent bought it yet. I saw one online 6,90€ 3metres long, 1080p resolution with gold HDMI connectors, triple shield layer to noise reduction and conductive foam. Plus the transportation around 10€. Thank you once again.
