So i have been looking for a while now for a laptop but a pc is also a possibility, so i came up with these two.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171091208387

now i think that the laptop has better specs but ive heard most gamers say that pc's are all around better. Can someone please tell me which one to get.

I am by no means an expert on this matter, but from what I do know if you only care about getting a computer to game on, go for the Alienware, so long as you are not bothered by ebay or an item being refurbished. If portability is not an issue, a desktop will be better for the same or similar price. In addition, the Lenovo has an integrated graphics card, while the alienware has a fairly good dedicated graphics card. If you are serious about gaming you will definitely want a dedicated graphics card

Thank you lucdj13 i think i am going with the pc for future upgradability. But patrick, i dont have the experience with building my own and i wouldnt be sure if i could do it by myself (my dad does computers but he lives 6 states away from me). Anyways id like to just get the alienware since it seems fine by itself for now. I may wait to change the graphics card till see my dad again. Also does anyone have any suggestions on keyboard/ monitors that arent too expensive? thanks guys
(im 16 btw)

Well if you have a really high end computer you may want to go for a 120Hz monitor, but the monitor I showed you is an IPS monitor which gives much more lifelike colors and a better viewing angle, I own the 27 inch version of the monitor I recommended to you and it's great, when you are ready to move up beyond 1080P I recommend this monitor here http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_IPS...

And as far as keyboards some people prefer a mechanical keyboard I like them both, a mechanical keyboard is better in quite a few ways and a lot of them are louder when you type because of the switches that are under each key

Well I would recommend the 23 inch LG IPS monitor I first suggested, it is great value and a great monitor
