Hi

I am planning to get a new laptop in a month or 2 but I am having a hard time picking one in Canada. Can someone guide me

Preferable Specification:

Prefer ASUS or Samsung Ultrabooks but I am open to any sleek laptops or ultrabooks
Size: 15" - 15.6"
CPU: Intel i5/i7 1.7+ GHz (Prefer Quad Core but Dual Core works too)
Ram: 6 or 8 GB (min) and 16GB(max) (option of upgrade)
GPU: Any (or close to Intel HD Graphics 4000)
*Must have Backlit Keyboard
HDD: Hyper HDD (prefer not to have a complete SSD)
Long battery life
*Prefer an Ultrabook or slim laptop weighing no more than 2kg(4.5 lbs)
*And a good looking Laptop (aluminum body is preferable)
Everything else is optional

I need this in Canada but I wouldn't mind a great deal from US either.

My budget is anything below $1200 ~ $1300 including TAX (can be a little more depending on the specs of the notebook.

Cheers

There are few things off about this ultrabook

1. Its weight seems to be about 5.8 lbs, which is heavier than my current Acer Aspire 5810t. The main purpose of an ultrabook is its long battery life and its light weight. Would there be one less than 5 lbs?

2. It doesn't seem to have a backlit keyboard. I use to tilt my screen down just to view the keyboard to mostly type passwords. A lot of ultrabooks now have them and its a feature I really want in my new laptop.

I dont mind if it goes a little off the price range but I'd say the above 2 are a must have.

I had another question.

If I were to get this, would it be possible to switch its SSD with Hybrid HDD? Would you say its a wise decision compared to having an external drive instead?
