Hello there dear forumers
For one year I had owned Samsung Chronos 700Z5A-S02PL laptop. And since the very beginning I had problems with that.
My laptop has two graphics card: AMD Radeon and Intel HD Graphics. They are meant to switch, when there is need. But the AMD card does not work at all. Furthermore it doesn't seem to exist in my computer. I can't find it in Windows Device Manager, I can't install AMD Catalyst drivers, I can't check it with GPU-Z. It does not work at Ubuntu, Windows 7 and Windows 8. I made a complaint to Samsung three times, they changed the motherboard three times, but still the card is not working. I even tried the Leshcat drivers, but like the AMD ones, I couldn't install it. Clearly, this notebook without dedicated graphics card is useless, I can't play any single, new game.
Is there any way to fix that? I can't rely on Samsung, which tried to fix it three times.

If it was dead from the beginning there's nothing really you can do. If it actually worked one of the things you tried so far would have shown it,so I guess, unfortunately, it died somehow. Of course, there could always be something I'm overlooking, but laptops are never fun to deal with.

You know, at the absoulte beginning the card was "working", but with very low clocks (know that from GPU-Z). Sometimes, when I restore the backup of Windows 7 from manufacturer, card again seems to work, but after couple of reboots it disappears mysteriously. It also appeard somehow maybe two times, again with very low clocks and disappeard.
I can admit, that it could happen once and after swapping the mobo it should be OK. But it's not.

Have you tried downloading the AMD drivers from the Samsung website for your make/model? Often times on OEM cards like that they lock you out of being able to install them from the AMD site etc. so you are limited to just what the manufacturer updates you with.

Of course, I tried that. Installation always finishes with an error. Also, when I open log file, everything is installed correctly (media drivers and so) except the graphics driver. No matter what driver I download, everytime happens the same thing...
