Good day to all! I would like to ask is there any method to create the factory restore image from the ASUS laptop that run on Windows 8? As I know, there's a software by ASUS to create factory restore image on Windows 7 but I can't seems to find it or any software that could do the trick on ASUS Windows 8 laptops. Therefore, I would like to ask help from fellow Tom's Hardware users. Thank you all! Sorry for the trouble though~

AI Recovery does not function under Windows 8. Asus has recommended that you use the Windows backup and restore function in Control Panel to create a Windows system image.

I believe the ultrabooks Asus sells with Win8 also has a "create recovery drive" function, where you back up the recovery to a 16 GB USB flash drive.

I think what you are looking for is the Asus Backtracker. This is for Asus units running Windows 8 and will help you create a restore media for the OS. It requires the use of a USB drive. I've provided a link below. Hope this helps.
