I have an Xperia Neo V phone with the ffg. information:
Model number: MT11i
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-2030282G-77
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-perf
BuildUser@BuildHost#1
Build number: 4.1.B.0.587

My problem is that my sd card was not mounting in my phone after flashing the 4.1.B.0.587 ftf file. I can still access the sd card when I connect it to my laptop. I already tried formatting the sd card twice and it still doesn't mount on my phone. Please help me how I can access my sd card in my phone.

format the sdcards to fat32

already tried that twice. I'm curious as to how my sd card is detected and can be accessed in my laptop but can't be mounted in my phone.

if htat doesn't work you might want to go into recovery and see if you can format the sdcard from recovery

Last night, I met a stranger with an xperia phone with a different model. I came up with an idea to insert my micro sd card into his phone. He accepted my requested. My micro sd card was recognized but needed formatting. I then formatted my micro sd card and voila, my sd card returned to normal. I was so grateful to the stranger whose name was Josh. I'm grateful to him for helping a total stranger. Hope this helps others who've had the same problem.
