Have no sound through hdmi cables on blu ray player and tv

How many HDMI ports do you have? Change to a different port on the TV. HDMI carries sound and video. The problem could be that you are using a cheap HDMI cable and you TV is one of those 240 hz TV's. The cable can't carry enough bandwith.
