Presently I have MS Office Outlook 2003 (not Express) with all its extras but have to switch to something else that is very good, similar, compatible to Win8 64 bit, freeware, and is able to transfer files/folders/contacts & addresses. It does not have to have ALL the bells and tweeters, etc. like Outlook but be very functional. Does anyone have any suggestions, i.e., something you have used or are using? Thanks again ahead of time for your input!

Thanks for the info...I started thinking abut Office, so I got my trusty install disc and went for a Outlook Only and did just that. It installed ok onto my new Win8 desktop and after setting the config.from old pc I clicked on send/receive and thankfully it worked. So after all that worrying and asking around, a new install did the job. Now all I have to do is find out why I can't import my files/folders.
