I'm looking at getting the Sony Vaio Pro 13 (i5 edition) Ultrabook.

What I'm after are the following:
- Light
- Portable
- Long battery life
- High quality screen
- SSD

Are there any alternatives that might be worth considering? Maybe something that is coming out soon or is already out that is better value for money?

My budget is very flexible. The lower the better but if it fulfils the criteria I don't mind paying more.

Thanks.

No need to be such fancy. For everyday use SSD won't make much difference. Or u could change your HDD into SSD, that will be much cheaper than buying one with a SSD.

Go to dell.com, any laptop under or equivalent with 14" will do u fine. Make sure the CPU should be U version (e.g celeron 1007U/pentium 2117U/ i3/i5/i7-3/4xxxU) Notify that a 6-cell or more will longer the battery life.

These two may satisfy u:

Sorry, I probably should have been more specific. I just meant a screen that looks nice. Maybe an IPS (or equivalent) display.

I don't mind if they are glossy or not, or reflective or not, etc.

Thanks.
