1. What is your budget? 1500$ (8955kr in my country) BUT I am not buying right now, just seeing what could be my best options when I am going to buy one.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 14" - 17"

3. What screen resolution do you want? 1920x1080p

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Well sort of both. I would like it to not be too heavy but yet powerful.

5. How much battery life do you need? As long as possible (2 hours at least).

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Yes, Crysis & Crysis 2 at either high or max, and other high demanding games like Arkham City at high (Summary: high or max on coming games and some old ones).

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Painting softwares (such as Artrage 4), normal school work (powerpoints, word, etc), oh and of course being on social sites.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? I am not sure, but I think 750gb - 1T would be good (due to games, artworks, and school work).

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. Based on you guys' recommendation, i will look them up on different sites from my country and try to pick the cheapest/reasonable one.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? As long as possible (4-6 years).

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? Just to be able to play disk based games and DVDs (I don't know which type that is, sorry :c ).

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

Like: MSI, Razer, Alienware, Lenovo (I like most brands, but these stand out to me).

13. What country do you live in? Scandinavia

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed: Please recommend something from this time around (not 2012 and older)! Thanks for any help! :)

Additionally... you should also consider what support options are available in your area. If say you buy something abroad, will you be able to have it fixed near where you live? Does the warranty apply? How quickly do local accredited technicians fix laptops?
