Hello everyone!
I've been thinking of getting some form of mobile workstation, since I really feel the need to get word done outside of home, mainly in Microsoft Office.
I've been presented with the opportunity of buying either a Iconia W500 (used) or a new Microsoft Surface RT just a little bit more pricey (new). Which of the two should I go for? Does the Iconia W500 still stand it's ground nowadays?
I'm mainly looking for a portable option to write papers in Microsoft Word, being able to play youtube videos and watching movies and music from a external HDD, and now and then play a little casual game to pass the time. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your help!

I LOVE my W500. The ONLY complaint I have about it is its a 32GB SSD and there are a few components that are only 32-bit compatible. Which is fine I guess. Personally, for the same price I would get the W500, but if the Surface RT is cheaper go with it. The C-50 APU is able to pull about 20 FPS on "Fair" presets in WoW, so that's not terribly bad for a computer that technically meet the WoW system requirements (it requires a 1.3Ghz CPU but the C-50 is only 1Ghz)

Thank you for you input, really apreciate it.
The Surface RT is actually a little bit more expensive, it would cost me 80 dollars more but it was in new condition while the W500 is a used one. But i'm really leaning towards the Iconia W500 and since you have one and love it that pushes me towards it even more. There will probably be times when I will want to play games on it and at least I can get a few old gems running on it :)
