Good headset with mic for skype and gaming

Does anyone know of a good headset for under $40 that would do a good job for skype and gaming?

I've had the Fatal1ty headset for over a year. The quality of the mic is amazing, everyone comments on how clear my voice sounds. The speakers are also fantastic, really clear and loads of bass. I run over the wire with my chair on a near daily basis and have had no issues with crackling or intermittent sound, unlike pretty much all my previous headsets.
My only issue was that I initially thought they felt a bit flimsy but I soon realized that they can take a beating. When dropped the plastic bents (what I thought of as flimsy) and they bounce slightly, cushioning the fall.
At the price, you cannot go wrong with this headset.
If mine ever fails, I will be buying the same as a replacement.
