New Adapter voltage

My new adapter has an option to use 18 or 19 volts my original adapter was 18.5 volts
which is more preferable 18 or 19 Volts

18v will save you a couple of quid per year in electric and "should" be ok even with the laptop would use with everything it has switched on and running fully loaded, it should never reach its peak voltage output, although 19v will ensure stability.
