whats better on a 14inch laptop 1366x768 or 1920x1080

i am planning to buy a alienware14inch. But they are two types one with a 1366x768 and another with 1920x1080. So what resolution you recommend.

1080p on any display is always better, sharper, clearer. I don't even understand why they even still make 1366 x 768 res on laptops now. My phone has a higher res than that. (LG Optimus G Pro 1920 x 1080) My desktop has 2560 x 1600 and it smokes 1080p displays.

yea i know its better but i been reading that the computer is 14 inchs so the letters are going to be to small if it is 1920x1080. but i also have read that 1366x768 sucks
