I'm looking for a laptop that is good for programming and if possible, gaming at a relatively low price. And very importantly, I want it to run cool and last long.
Not interested in Mac, Windows 7/8 and Linux only.

Something around what I'm looking for:
Quad-core processor (if possible, otherwise a fast dual-core or tri-core).
4-6GB ram.
500+GB HDD
Not familiar with laptop GPU's, but I'd like to at least play games like L4D2.
Price Range: Less than $500.00, preferably $400.00.
And I'm looking for a laptop that runs as cool as possible, because I need it to last.

Thank you all for your time!

Solution
You can't get a laptop with those criteria at that price range. Unless it's an almost broken used laptop using 1st generation i7 quad core CPU.

I'm not quite sure why you guys were saying there simply isn't anything that good and that cheap, the suggested laptops were exactly what I was looking for!
However, I won't have a chance to check any of them out because I happened upon a free Macbook Pro, which leads to my next question...
Is it possible to remove OSX and install Ubuntu or Windows as the sole OS?
