Hello everyone, I'm in a bit of a tough cookie here.
I basically own a Logitech X-530 5.1 surround sound system made for PC's.
It comes with three jacks, the standard green jack, an orange jack and a black jack.
These all fit in my PC, and my PC can run 5.1 sound fine, BF3 sounds great when all the speakers are in place, however, now my PS3 has to use the sound coming out of the TV, and the TV's sound is absolutely horrible, and tinny.

So I was wondering, when the 3 jacks are plugged in to the back of the PC, is there some sort of device(s) out there which will allow me to hook up the PS3's AV cable to an AV to 3.5mm female jack, or something along the lines? So that way, the PC and the PS3 will be using the speakers simultaneously without having to switch manually.

Because I currently have a headset hooked up to my PS3, it's a 2.1 headset and uses the AV cable of the PS3, while the HDMI is connected to the monitor for video. It may be a little hard to understand, but I'm hoping one of you experts ran in to a similar problem and can help me out here.

I currently have this device, that Logitech had provided me:

I can use this with the PS3, but if I do, I can't have it connected to the PC at the same time, so are there some splitters out there which will let me hook it up to both my PC and PS3, if so, how would it work? Can someone give me an easy explanation?

Cheers.

You'll need an adapter and change your PS3 settings to Multi-A/V output (where video is on HDMI and audio is out analog/component).

Get a stereo component to female 3.5 mm adapter - that should work and that's what I did :)
