Suggestion for laptop IdeaPad Y500 Laptop - 59371972 - Dusk Black with optimus technology

Hi experts,

I'd like to buy "IdeaPad Y500 Laptop - 59371972 - Dusk Black ". I want to know whether this laptop has Nvidia Optimus technology, that way i can save some power?

Both the single card setup and the SLI setup do not support Optimus. The Intel HD graphics are disabled in BIOS.

The Y580 supports Optimus.

However, as an owner of the 14" Y470 which has the GT 550m and Intel HD 3000, Optimus tech does not affect battery very much.
