I'm looking for a good and cheap home theater system that's probably going to be a HTIB for just gaming, music and movies. Cheap meaning like $400 and below, I don't need the audiophile grade components just something that will be good enough for the following three consoles, Ps3, Ps4, and Wii U, plus be able to hook up through to my PC. I was looking at Onkyo but I know there's more than one brand to home theater so I want to see what everyone has for a good, cheap brand.

Look for a deal on a 5 or 5.1 set of EnergyTake speakers. I got a set of EnergyTake Classic 5 just before xmas for $150. Matched it with an $80 Polk Audio subwoofer. Then an Onkyo receiver.
Total - $480 (a little over your $400)
But it completely blows away the Panasonic 5.1 HTIB it replaced. Completely, utterly...

Does this seem like a good cheap home theater build? Pioneer VSX-822-K as a receiver and Yamaha 5.1 as the speakers? I don't really know what I'm doing for piecing together home audio components.
